· Go to the start menu of Windows and type ‘%appdata%\Microsoft\Outlook’
· As soon as you type this a folder which contains MS outlook configuration file will open
· Now search and delete Outlook XML file
· But delete it only when recover option stop working

Fix outlook data file

Another possibility that can cause this error. Let us fix it with Microsoft outlook support. Wrong uninstallation of MS Outlook can be a reason behind damaged data file. Close outlook compatibility mode

· Go to the search filed of start button and type exe
· Next, right click on the Outlook.exe and go to its properties
· Select compatibility mode from the from properties
· Then click on OK button and then restart your machine
